Protocols you can expect during COVID-19

(last updated April 12, 2021)

We continue to reassess and update our policies and procedures regarding the provision of orthotic care on a regular basis following recommendations made by the Ontario Government, Ministry of Public Health and Toronto Public Health

How to Prepare For Your Appointment

Please become familiar with our health and safety protocols

prior to coming to an appointment at our Boundless office

Complete Two Step Screening

All patients and attending caregivers will be screened when scheduling an appointment and again when arriving for an appointment. You will be asked:

  • If you have a fever, and/or new onset of cough or difficulty breathing, AND any of the following:

    • Traveled to any country outside of Canada in the last 14 days (OR)

    • Come in close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19 recently

Wear a Face Covering

Wearing a face covering inside the clinic is mandatory, following the Region of Peel by-laws. Face coverings are required for the duration of your appointment. Exceptions will be made for children under the age of two, as well as individuals who have trouble breathing or are otherwise unable to wear a face covering for medical reasons or reasons of disability, including people who are unable to remove masks without assistance.

Only One Caregiver

We ask that only one caregiver accompanies a Boundless patient if possible. We recommend that independent adult patients attend their appointment on their own.

Arrive on Time

Please arrive as close to your scheduled time as possible. By arriving at your appointment on time you will ensure adequate spacing between appointments.

Call On Arrival

When you arrive, please call the office (905-602-0650) to alert us of your arrival and we will greet you at the door. If the door is locked please call and someone will open the door for you. We lock the door when we are functioning at full capacity.

Wash Your Hands

All clients are required to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer when entering and exiting the clinic area. You may use the accessible washroom which is situated to the right of the main clinic hallway.

Access No-Contact Repair Services

Our no-contact repair service for getting repairs and adjustments is available. Learn more about our no-contact repair service.

Additional Health & Safety Measures

These additional safety measures protect everyone’s health while being able to access our services.

Increased Sanitation

Staff will wash and sanitize their hands, tools, and any high touch surfaces before and after your visit. Rooms will be thoroughly sanitized after each client visit.

Personal Protective Equipment

Staff will be using protective equipment during appointments (disposable gloves, face shield, mask and lab coat). All staff have received the first vaccine they were eligible for and are scheduled for their second dose.
